Dear Edgar and Claudia !

My name is Vadim, I am a salsa DJ from Saint-Petersburg (Russia).
For several years I visited your blog and found a lot of great music thanks to you!
There are no people in Russia who collect salsa records, because it is a very expensive pleasure here, and there are a lot of difficulties with buying vinyl. Therefore, we have to hope for such enthusiasts like you, who generously share their musical treasures.
I watch closely the brand-new salsa music, but very rarely music worthy of the “Golden Era” appears. Therefore, mainly old tracks are coming to my music collection. I really love this music! I love to listen and I love to dance. I have been doing this for almost 15 years now and I increasingly appreciate old music, written according to classical canons and played soulful. It is very valuable for me that I can listen true son, mambo, guaguanko, etc., thanks to your blog!
I am very sad that your blog will close! For me, this is a huge loss. Can you tell me why you made this decision? Are you closing this blog only or are you completely stopping your mission? I really hope not!

In any case, I want you to know that in St-Petersburg there is a person who is very grateful to you for your work, for your enthusiasm, for the opportunity to give good music to people on the dance floor!

Thanks, Edgar!

Happiness to you and your family!

With great gratitude and respect, Vadim.
